The 50th anniversary of our company, an important achievement achieved thanks to the daily commitment of our employees and the trust of our customers and suppliers.
Icaiplast turns 50, the company, founded on April 16, 1974 by a group of members who decided to take over an activity born in 1958 under the name I.C.A.I. – Industria Chimica Alta Italia, based in Vigevano, historically famous worldwide for footwear and machinery. The company immediately marks a constant growth in the production and marketing of synthetic leather.
In 1982 the activity was moved to the current building in via Gambolina, in the industrial area of the city covering an area of 22,000 square meters.
Over the years, Icaiplast has established itself as a consolidated partner of brands of international importance thanks to the study and production of high quality products with high technical characteristics, reaching out to sectors that go beyond simple footwear such as: furniture, transport, leather goods, etc.
With the passage of time there has been a remarkable company growth that has surpassed every historical partner event, reaching today more than 50 employees and a turnover of over 12 million. In the last decade Icaiplast has increasingly turned its commitment to the technological development of its plants and technologies with a continuous renewal of equipment and attention to the environment going to create a new family of sustainable and low environmental impacte.
With the goal of 50 years Icaiplast wants to thank all internal and external collaborators who over the years have contributed to this goal looking to the future with energy and determination.
