Thanks to our strong connection with the shoe sector – deeply rooted in the Vigevano territory – we are accustomed – and obliged – to dedicate our energies and resources to the growth of this field.
And, thanks to the contribution of our R&D Department, we are able to launch new PVC and PU coated fabrics every year, ideal to manufacture increasingly resistant, light and waterproof synthetic leather comfort shoes, in line with fashion and current trends.
PVC and PU coated fabrics and products
Our synthetic leather is versatile and can be used to produce any kind of summer or winter from sandals to boots, from pool flip-flops to healthcare clogs – in all of their parts: from upper shoe to lining, from toecap to insole, and straps, padding and legs.
Warp-knit fabrics, TNT, jersey, microfibre, cotton and polyester cloths: these are the main backings we use to make comfort shoes.
Technical characteristics
Icaiplast synthetic leather for the comfort shoes sector is compliant with the provisions set forth by the Reach Regulation – the European Regulation to improve the protection of human health and the environment against chemicals – and is phthalate-free.
In our R&D Department, PVC and PU coated fabrics are tested internally by our quality control staff; in special cases, some other tests are performed externally in certified.
