The crown jewel of our organization is the Research & Development workshop, where creativity and new market trends meet technique, chemistry and mechanics on raw materials, by creating solutions that always ensure the highest performance standards.
In our plants in Vigevano, PVC and PU coated fabric production is followed by our expert staff in all its steps, by translating the development lines previously defined in the research workshop. Icaiplast’s global success comes from this synergy between experimenting and technological innovation, creative qualities and knowledge of the latest market trends, production and, last but not least, the precious support and consultancy offered to our customers by our sales department.
Our position as one of the leading international players in the production and marketing of synthetic leather is the result of constant Research & Development investments, and not only that.

Quality and control of each production phase is guaranteed by Standard UNI EN ISO 9001:2015; Icaiplast only employs raw materials compliant with the provisions set forth by the Reach System – the European Regulation to improve the protection of human health and the environment against chemicals – and they are phthalate-free.
In addition, Icaiplast complies with the Fire Prevention provisions of Directive 2014/90/EU on marine equipment (MED) and with the Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/306, with the type described in EC Certificate (Module B) and EC Certificate (Module D).
