Thanks to this attention to detail, Icaiplast has partnered up with international brands that choose it because its PVC and PU coated materials meet several specifications, such as those concerning cold flex (Bally method (up to –20°C), abrasion and wear over time due to environmental factors such as humidity, UV radiations and biological fluids.
Synthetic leather compliant with the Reach Regulation
Icaiplast synthetic leather for the technical shoes sector is compliant with the provisions set forth by the Reach Regulation – the European Regulation to improve the protection of human health and the environment against chemicals – and is phthalate-free.
Warp-knit fabrics, TNT, high-tenacity cloth, microfibre, cotton and polyester cloths: these are the main backings we use to make technical and safety shoes. Our coated materials are compatible with special processing techniques (high-frequency, serigraphy, heat drilling and heat sealing), water-resistant, and resistant to UV radiations, abrasion, biological fluids and low temperature (-15/-20°).
