Synthetic leather for outdoor applications
We can count on a wide range of synthetic leather for the outdoor furniture sector, for residential, technical, marine and contract applications.
The wide range of thickness, colours, patterns and materials (microfibre fabric), along with the continuous search for new finishes and colours, allow us to meet the end use, application and style requests of all our customers. In addition, if the specifications supplied by the customer require it, we can design PVC and PU coated fabrics with specific features.
Icaiplast synthetic leather used to create outdoor furniture items is compliant with the provisions set forth by the Reach System – the European Regulation to improve the protection of human health and the environment against chemicals – and is phthalate-free.
Outdoor materials certifications
In addition, it holds the following certifications: class 1 IM (fire resistance); ATB ultrafresh (anti-mould and anti-bacterial material); it is also subjected to the AFT treatment (anti-scratch treatment). Our PVC and PU coated fabrics for interiors are water-resistant and UV radiation, abrasion, and biological fluid resistant.
In our R&D Department, PVC and PU coated fabrics are tested internally by our quality control staff; in special cases, some other tests are performed externally in certified.
